1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ShareMeWeb ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the sharemeweb.com website and the ShareMeWeb file transfer service (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ShareMeWeb provides a browser-based, peer-to-peer file transfer service powered by WebRTC technology. The Service enables users to transfer files directly between browsers without the files passing through our servers. Our role is limited to providing a signaling service that facilitates the initial WebRTC connection handshake.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use ShareMeWeb only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must NOT use the Service to transfer:

• Content that is illegal under applicable law
• Malware, viruses, trojan horses, spyware, or any malicious software
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors
• Copyrighted material without authorization from the rights holder
• Content that facilitates illegal activity, including hacking tools
• Personally identifiable information of others without their consent
• Terrorist or extremist content
• Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination against protected groups

Because files are transferred peer-to-peer and never pass through our servers, we are technically unable to monitor or filter file content. You are solely responsible for all files you transfer using the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

You represent and warrant that you own the files you transfer through the Service or have the legal right to transfer them. You indemnify ShareMeWeb against any claims arising from intellectual property infringement related to files you transfer.

The ShareMeWeb website, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by ShareMeWeb and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

We do not warrant that files will transfer successfully in all network conditions, or that the Service will always be available.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SHAREDROP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Failed transfers or corrupted files
• Unauthorized interception of transfers (despite our security measures)
• Any damages arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed USD $10.00.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services including:

• STUN Servers: Google's public STUN servers (stun.l.google.com) to assist with NAT traversal. Your IP address may be visible to these servers during the connection process.
• CDN Libraries: JavaScript libraries (QRCode.js, jsQR, Socket.io) served from content delivery networks.
• Advertising: Third-party advertising networks that serve ads on our website.

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies, which govern their use of any data they collect.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. We may also update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ShareMeWeb regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
